Are the earrings hypoallergenic ?
We use a high grade stainless steel which is hypoallergenic and allows almost anyone to wear our earrings without irritation or infection.
What are the benefits of the screw on stud back ?
Our flat screw on backs are absolute comfort and fit our motto of 24/7 wearing earrings ! No more earring backs poking your head while sleeping ! Please make sure to check that they are still tight every now and then and tighten them up if needed ! Most of our studs fit each others backs and are interchangeable. For the people that prefer the snug fit of a normal butterfly we have included a pair of silicone backs as an alternative
How long should the earring bar of a stud be ?
The most commonly used lengths range from 6mm to 8mm. We have chosen to go with an 8mm bar length to accommodate a range of ear lobes, piercings on the upper ear which have a thicker cartilage and for there to be a bit of room for movement of the earring.
How should your earrings be cleaned ?
We suggest cleaning the earrings with a soft cloth ( similar to that of a cloth used to clean glasses. If you would like to first rinse them this can be done but we advise against using any kind of jewellery cleaner on them as this can cause the earrings to discolour.
Will the earrings ever lose their colour and what happens if they do ?
Our gold pieces are Stainless Steel and are PVD coated with 18K gold plating which means they are made to last much longer than standard costume jewellery. The gold may darken slightly over time but will never fade. Just give it a shine with a soft cloth to get it looking as good as new !
If your earrings have lost their gold colour within 6 months of purchase, we will replace the item. This is ONLY if the item has lost plating due to a manufacturing defect. If the fault is ours and the product is sold out, we will replace it with an alternative product. If we receive the item and it is unreasonably scratched, then we will not replace the item. (metal on metal will scratch your plating away so please keep your jewellery separated and be careful of friction with other metals)
Our silver is stainless steel. This gives them the most durable quality of all of our jewellery. As they are unplated, they appear slightly more grey in colour than sterling silver. This is the natural colour of stainless steel. This is not a plating and is impossible to wear away so these pieces will last forever with absolutely no colour change.
